Shalizar Rassouli-Rashti is a licensed and award winning Acupuncturist and Chinese Medicine. She is a graduate of the Traditional Chinese Medicine in Toronto where she studied Chinese Medicine (Acupuncture & Herbal Medicine) and she also attended additional education in Cosmetic Acupuncture at elite schools in Miami, New York and Switzerland. She was featured in Skin Deep, a program which won a 2001 Gemini award for being the most popular show on the Life Network that year.

Cosmetic acupuncture is a healthy and natural substitute to plastic or cosmetic surgery. Shalizar applies her skills as a teacher to select students who believe in the health and beauty benefits of cosmetic acupuncture.

Her clients have included well known actors and politicians, as well as teachers, students and media personalities. Believing in the combination of modern with traditional medicine for optimal health and wellness, she has taught medical acupuncture to registered nurses from all over Canada.
